About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Officer in Wayne, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Monitor access points, entrances, and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and support property protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely records of patrols, incidents, and all security-related activities as required by site procedures.
Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and property staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
