As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will monitor access, assist guests, and help to deter security-related incidents while using technology to support your duties. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor building access and verify identification of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences observed at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including notifying appropriate personnel and following communication procedures.
  • Support a welcoming and professional environment by addressing inquiries and providing information to guests and tenants as needed.
