As a Security Guard - Bank Lobby Greeter in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access points, and support badge and visitor check-in processes while maintaining detailed logs and clear communication. You will monitor activity from the lobby and front desk area, respond to security-related concerns, and partner with site teams to help maintain a professional environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, members, and/or visitors at a front desk within a financial services location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby activity and access points from the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining a visitor log.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting Allied Universal management and/or local emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems as assigned, such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, and report unusual activity per site procedures.
  • Complete daily reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, communicating noteworthy events to the next shift and/or site contacts.
