As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate office location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and document security-related events with clear communication. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, completing security-related procedures, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Manage lobby and reception operations, including greeting and directing tenants, guests, and vendors, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor access points and building activity from a stationary post, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior, and escalating concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
