As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor activity through systems and radio traffic, and direct on-site teams to support smooth operations. You will document incidents, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere through strong service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card and/or security license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a commercial real estate location.
  • Dispatch officers to calls for service and/or alarms, coordinate radio and phone communications, and relay critical information to site leadership and property management as needed.
  • Monitor access control systems, intrusion and fire panels, and/or CCTV, and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assist with documentation, and help to deter repeat issues through timely reporting and follow-up.
  • Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, and maintain awareness of key holder lists, vendor schedules, and after-hours procedures.
