Security Officer - Command Center Dispatcher
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Command Center Dispatcher in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related responses by monitoring systems, managing radio and phone communications, tracking patrol activity, and directing officers to alarms, access issues, and service requests. You will document incidents, support visitor and employee processing, and help keep operations moving with clear communication. Requirements
- Have 1+ years law enforcement experience or 2+ years security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense environment.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, radios, and communication lines; receive calls for service and dispatch officers and/or resources in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site leadership and/or public responders as directed by location procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Complete security-related logs and reports, maintain dispatch and incident records, and support access control processes such as visitor validation and badge verification when assigned.
