Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the location.
Receive and respond to calls for service, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Communicate clearly with security personnel and/or staff to relay information and provide instructions as needed.
Document incidents, activities, and communications accurately in logs and reports.
Assist in monitoring surveillance systems and alarm panels to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance related to security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities and coordinate with first responders when appropriate.
