As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and responding to needs as they arise. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, corridors, offices, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned by post orders.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services per site procedures.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site policies.
• Complete timely written and/or electronic reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
