Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare front desk where you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, monitor cameras and/or alarms, document activity, and respond to questions and concerns with a calm, customer-focused approach. You will use a computer and/or tablet to support security-related reporting and communication, helping to reduce incidents while partnering closely with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
  • 21+ Years of Age is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, patients, and vendors; confirm authorization, issue temporary badges when directed, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or intercoms; report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff, facility leadership, and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete shift documentation including incident reports, daily activity logs, and pass-down information to support consistent security-related operations.
