As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor alarms and cameras, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. You will be a visible, welcoming presence that helps to deter incidents while supporting daily operations. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk at a financial institution location, greeting visitors, validating identification, issuing badges and/or passes, and directing guests to the appropriate area.
  • Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms and/or video systems as assigned, and report irregular activity according to site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, access logs, and other front desk records, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal leadership.
