As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and support a secure environment through teamwork and strong communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, offering an engaging opportunity to contribute to a people-first, innovative, and reliable team.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support emergency response efforts.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports as required by site protocols.
