As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points by verifying credentials, coordinating visitor check-in, and assisting with badge and/or escort processes per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports and communicate noteworthy updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
