Security Officer - Clearance Required Full Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Response Driver in MANASSAS, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with onsite teams while delivering attentive customer service. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary badges and/or passes, and directing visitors to the proper destinations.
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and other security-related equipment; document and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations, with working conditions that may vary by post.
