As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, control access, and document security-related activity while providing standout customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of observations, incidents, and shift activity, and support security-related investigations by preserving notes and available evidence per site procedures.
