As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor and control access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor processing and direction-giving.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
