Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol, Security Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and document observations with accuracy. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging processes, and directing personnel to approved routes and designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or assistance per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, patrols, and incidents, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
