Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols across platforms, stations, and surrounding areas, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist riders and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and post orders at a government transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, station interiors, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public agency personnel as needed.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, unattended items, and violations of posted rules, taking appropriate actions within scope and documenting observations.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate updates via radio and/or phone, and support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
