Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel. You will also provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and embody our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity while supporting a people-first culture.

Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of personnel and visitors entering the location.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on patrol activities, incidents and observations.
Support emergency response efforts as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
