As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol - Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a chemical or petrochemical location. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible to those onsite. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or security-related hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
  • Maintain detailed logs and documentation of patrols, incidents, and any observed irregularities as required by site policies.
  • Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols, including those related to chemical and petrochemical site operations.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials at entry and exit points as required.
