As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as needed, all while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping in mind the unique needs of a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and report findings according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines for chemical and petrochemical environments, including any required documentation or reporting.
