As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and managing access control points to support a secure environment. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and verifying credentials.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments, remaining alert to environmental and operational hazards.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.
