About The Position
As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in Mauldin, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by the site.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing duties.
