Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrols in Milwaukee, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for mobile patrols as part of your duties. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Must be comfortable using computers or tablets

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions, with consideration for the unique requirements of a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor for potential hazards or security-related concerns specific to chemical and petrochemical operations, reporting any irregularities as directed.
Interact professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols related to chemical and petrochemical environments.
