As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol critical chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues within the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials of individuals entering the location.
  • Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist first responders as directed during incidents at the location.
