Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Specialist in Anacortes, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards within the location.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, or site needs.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
