Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Specialist in Anacortes, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards within the location.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, or site needs.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
