As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your routine patrols and attentive presence will contribute to a secure environment for all onsite. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Document observations and report any irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities, including evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures, as directed by site protocols.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings in order to identify and report potential security-related risks or hazards specific to a chemical and petrochemical location.
