As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while embodying our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions or activity, and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain awareness of ongoing security-related matters.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and following site access procedures.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
