As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access control. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, employees, and contractors in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
  • Verify identification and credentials for all individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist with visitor registration and maintain accurate records of individuals coming into and leaving the facility.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communication devices from the front desk area.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate with facility staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including notifying appropriate personnel and assisting with evacuation procedures if required.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or concerns from employees and visitors, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
