As a Front Desk Security Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and assisting with security-related matters. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access control at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, in accordance with site protocols.
Assist with visitor and contractor registration, verifying identification and issuing badges as required by location policies.
Communicate professionally with personnel and guests to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, activities, and irregularities observed at the front desk area.
Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
