Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from personnel and visitors while upholding site protocols.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities as observed during shifts.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, including coordination with on-site teams and Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and protocols relevant to chemical and petrochemical operations.
