As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrols in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving position, offering the opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated team that values agility, reliability, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unwanted activity within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual conditions or unauthorized individuals.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site staff regarding incidents, emergencies, or maintenance issues.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as required by site procedures, including chemical or petrochemical specific protocols.
