About The Position
As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol Driver in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with attention to the unique requirements of a chemical or petrochemical location.
- Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities, documenting findings and notifying appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by the site.
- Support Allied Universal leadership and site management in implementing security-related directives and maintaining a secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
