About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol Driver in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with attention to the unique requirements of a chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities, documenting findings and notifying appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by the site.
  • Support Allied Universal leadership and site management in implementing security-related directives and maintaining a secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
