Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directing them as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe for unusual conditions or activities.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during emergency response activities, adhering to established protocols.
