Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities, including suspicious persons, security-related hazards, or unusual occurrences at the location.
Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and daily operations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and personnel to provide assistance and information related to access control and security-related matters.
