About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Dispatch in Carrollton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to calls, and provide excellent customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the chemical and petrochemical location.
Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with on-site teams and local authorities as appropriate.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities, including incident reports and communications.
Assist with site-specific procedures related to access control, visitor management, and emergency response protocols.
Provide customer service by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries from employees, contractors, and visitors.
Support Allied Universal team members by relaying critical information and updates during incidents and/or emergencies.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of site operations and communicating relevant information to security-related personnel.
Participate in drills and training sessions to stay current with emergency response procedures and site policies.
