Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Dispatch in Carrollton, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to calls, and provide excellent customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with on-site teams and local authorities as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities, including incident reports and communications.
  • Assist with site-specific procedures related to access control, visitor management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Provide customer service by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries from employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by relaying critical information and updates during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of site operations and communicating relevant information to security-related personnel.
  • Participate in drills and training sessions to stay current with emergency response procedures and site policies.
