As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
Provide customer service by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing inquiries and directing individuals as appropriate.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to support site security protocols.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
