As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will welcome guests and team members, manage check-in procedures, verify credentials, and support access control. You will be a highly visible presence who helps to deter security-related incidents through strong communication, prompt reporting, and professional service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing individuals to the appropriate locations within the retail property.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other systems from the front desk, document observations, and report unusual activity to site leadership in a manner that helps to deter potential incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with property-specific response protocols.
  • Complete required logs and reports, answer incoming calls, and communicate with property staff and local responders as needed to support daily operations.
