About The Position

As a Security Officer- Bank Check-In Desk in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, and monitor activity through on-site systems while remaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will provide clear communication, document concerns, and support employees and guests with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
  • Be 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, employees, and vendors; verify identification, manage access per site policy, and help to maintain an orderly lobby environment.
  • Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and other security-related equipment as assigned; report irregular conditions and document activity in required logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and emergency services as directed.
  • Complete detailed written reports and shift handoff communications, including incident documentation, visitor activity, and service requests, in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
