As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs within the location to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for the campus community.
Support emergency response protocols, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns as directed by Allied Universal and/or site leadership.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
