Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with campus representatives and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and/or directing visitors as appropriate for the location.
Support the enforcement of campus rules, regulations, and policies through positive engagement and communication.
