As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Assist students, staff, and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries as needed.
- Work collaboratively with campus personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
