Job Description As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings, yards, and access points, helping to identify and report security-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence that can help to deter incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and respond to service requests with professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
- Monitor and document security-related activity through access control, badge checks, and visitor processing while maintaining accurate logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of site contacts, and coordination with public responders when needed.
- Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incidents, and communicate handoff information to oncoming personnel.
