As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to alarms and calls for service, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while supporting a professional, customer-focused atmosphere. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through required communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit of employees, contractors, and deliveries according to site requirements, including checking identification and/or credentials as directed.
• Complete required reports such as shift activity logs and incident reports, and communicate notable observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
