As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the educational campus, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your duties include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

One or more of the following: at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the educational environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Assist with monitoring access points and reporting any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Support the enforcement of campus rules and regulations as outlined in site-specific instructions.
Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or maintenance needs discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with campus staff and local emergency responders when necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.
