Job Description As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Watertown, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and medical-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
Complete routine reports and document observations, incidents, and/or response actions while following Allied Universal standards and location-specific expectations.
