As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the educational location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when appropriate.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with campus staff and local authorities as directed.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
