As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout campus areas. You will interact with the campus community, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to requests or incidents as needed. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within an educational environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, students, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and report any suspicious or unauthorized behavior to appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following protocols provided by Allied Universal and the client site.
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required to document observations and actions taken during shifts.
Support a positive atmosphere at the location by interacting professionally with members of the campus community.
