About The Position

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Unarmed Full-Time in Cheyney, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact with students, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and provide a visible presence.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the educational environment.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and/or hazards discovered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with campus personnel and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support campus operations.
