As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the campus community, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all individuals on the premises by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering assistance as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, students, and visitors to address questions and provide guidance.
Document incidents and observations accurately in reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures for the educational environment.
Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuations and drills, as directed by site leadership.
Remain alert to changing conditions and follow all instructions from Allied Universal and site management.
